Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ScribX and scribx.app, operated by TDA Develop.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ScribX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of the service

ScribX is a meeting intelligence platform that provides real-time transcription, AI-powered translation, automated meeting notes and a meeting management CMS. The Service is operated by TDA Develop ("we," "us," "our").

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed or become paid without notice. We are not liable for any disruption during this period.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@scribx.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Consent and participant notification

Many jurisdictions require all-party consent before recording a conversation. Before using ScribX in any meeting, you must:

Biometric data (voiceprints)

Speaker identification features may generate voice characteristics that qualify as biometric data under applicable law (e.g. Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI). By enabling speaker identification, you represent that you have notified participants and obtained any consent required to collect and process biometric identifiers under applicable law. You must maintain and publish a retention schedule for any biometric data you collect through the Service.

5. Intellectual property

Your content: You retain all ownership rights in your meeting recordings, transcripts and notes. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

Our content: The ScribX platform, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by TDA Develop and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute it without our permission.

6. Payment and billing

The Free plan is provided at no cost subject to usage limits. Paid plans are billed [to complete — monthly/annually] via [to complete — payment processor]. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy [to complete].

Early Adopter beta: The Early Adopter plan is free during the beta period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before introducing charges.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

On termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TDA Develop's total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss or business interruption.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

AI transcriptions and summaries are automated and may contain errors. Do not rely on them for legal, medical or financial decisions without independent verification.

10. Governing law

11. Changes to these terms
